WINE SCHOOL SCHEDULE

Gadgets for wine lovers are all over the market these days. We will take a look at the amazing gadgets available for further enjoying our favorite drink.

Oh yes, of course we are holding Wine School on Christmas Day. What better way to celebrate than in your favorite flannel & bling for our Glam Lumberjack Jam! (Rhinestones not included!) With wines to match the mood let’s enjoy some cheer!

Remember in science class that no two snowflakes are alike? A similar principle can be applied to wine, no two bottles are the same. Every bottle of wine goes through its own journey making each bottle of wine uniquely its own. Even bottles from the same bottling run, vintage or vineyard will be dramatically different. So, together we will look at all the factors that influence each & every bottle of wine’s journey.

We dress up to drink wine! Once a month to be exact. We need no excuses to dress up to enjoy our wine. This cold January day we will tip our hat to our favorite drink. Whether you wear a derby hat, a top hat or your favorite pom pom ski hat we will all be in the festive mood with our hats off to wine, hooray! This fabulous theme was chosen by one of our weekly Wine School participants: Joyce!

A look at the powerful impact oak has on wine, why winemakers use it, why some people love it & others hate it! Oaky dokey?

Wine, it’s only about 8,000 years old. It is a part of our history & most certainly our future. We will look at the world masterpieces that depict wine! It will be a feast for the senses!

“Wine School is something that I look forward to each and every Tuesday Night. Cordelia has opened up a whole new world of wines for me that I would have never known. Jessika’s food pairings are absolutely delicious. I try to go almost every week as there is such a sense of community for everyone whether it’s your 1st time or 47th week in a row. I always leave with something new that I have learned.”

“Timeless elegance…..a place to relax, laugh and make new friends and learn. I look forward to it all week.”

TESTIMONIAL   John Viviani
“One of the best nights of the week for me is Tuesday night going to Cordelia’s wine school at Ze Windham Wine Bar. Cordelia is a great sommelier who not only has what you expect from an excellent sommelier but has the greatest personality and passion along with her expertise. She makes learning wine fun and exciting. Since I have been going to wine school I’ve been able to appreciate ones from all over the world and learned the amount you pay for a wine does not dictate how good the wine is to you. I clearly learned that the taste for wine is a personal thing to enjoy. What may taste great too one is not so good for others. But as Cordelia says “that’s OK own it.” Besides the learning aspect Cordelia is great at making you feel comfortable and providing an environment to meet new people. Cordelia, thanks for taking my love for wine to the next level.”
